1. Service Description

ClipShrink ("the Service") is a browser-based video compression tool operated by Frequency AI Ltd ("we", "us", "our"). The Service processes video files entirely within your web browser using FFmpeg WebAssembly technology. No video files are uploaded to our servers.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using ClipShrink, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

3. Free and Paid Tiers

ClipShrink offers a free tier with limited daily usage and a paid Pro tier with expanded features. Payment is processed through Polar. Subscriptions auto-renew monthly unless cancelled. To cancel, manage your subscription through your account page or contact [email protected].

4. Refunds

Email [email protected] with your order number and a description of the issue.

5. User Responsibilities

You are solely responsible for the content of any videos you process using the Service. You must not use the Service to process content that infringes on intellectual property rights, contains illegal material, or violates any applicable laws. You must not attempt to circumvent digital rights management (DRM) protections.

6. Intellectual Property

ClipShrink uses FFmpeg, which is licensed under the LGPL. The ClipShrink application, design, and branding are owned by Frequency AI Ltd. You retain all rights to your video files.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that compression results will meet your specific requirements or that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free. Processing quality and speed depend on your device capabilities and browser.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Frequency AI Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from your use of the Service.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes by posting a notice on the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
